Great Minds is seeking a Senior Service Designer to enhance the implementation of their secondary math curriculum by developing high-quality professional learning content and collaborating with various teams. This remote position requires a strong background in secondary mathematics and educational practices, as well as experience in creating and facilitating professional development initiatives.
Responsibilities: Responsibilities include creating professional learning resources, ensuring adherence to accessibility guidelines, and collaborating with the Texas Implementation Services team to enhance curriculum delivery and support.
Skills: Candidates should possess strong writing and editing skills, deep content knowledge in Secondary Mathematics, and experience in facilitating professional development workshops.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree is required, with a Master's degree in curriculum and instruction preferred. At least 5 years of experience in developing professional learning content is necessary, along with leadership experience in schools or districts.
Location: This position is remote but may require future travel of ~20%. Candidates must reside in or near Texas.
Compensation: $77000 - $87000 / Annually

Job Purpose
The Senior Service Designer supports Great Minds in its mission to foster effective implementation of all curriculum products. This role is responsible for researching, writing, reviewing, and revising content that supports the implementation efforts of current and potential users of Great Minds-supported curricula. The Senior Service Designer will develop professional learning experiences in alignment with best practices for adult learning. The Senior Service Designer will also plan and lead associated internal learning and development on the developed professional learning experiences.
This role is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced educator, instructional coach, curriculum developer, or school leader who possesses Secondary Math knowledge and pedagogical expertise, passion for high-quality, knowledge-building curriculum, and the belief that every child is capable of greatness. While the work is remote, this will also be a highly collaborative position, necessitating a strong sense of teamwork and cooperation.

The base salary range for this position is $77,000-$87,000, however the offered salarymay be higher or lower than the above range dependent on numerous factors including, but not limited to location, work experience, skills and internal equity considerations.. The base salary is not inclusive of benefits or other incentives.
