The US healthcare system is complex, error-prone, and financially draining. Medical bills and insurance coverage shouldn’t be this hard to navigate. At Granted, we’re building the one solution every American can turn to for help.
Thanks to AI and new regulations, Granted can fight claim denials, correct billing errors, negotiate bills, and make coverage easier to understand—saving people time, money, and stress. Our goal is simple: to be the #1 platform that empowers all Americans to take charge of their healthcare.
Founded by a former Oscar Health leader, we’re a seed-stage company with $17M in funding. We’re lucky to be backed by the founders and investors at Hugging Face, Rocket Money, Oscar Health, CaseText, Forerunner Ventures, RRE Ventures, and more. We are well-funded for the next few years.
The Integrations pod creates the universal conduit between Granted and the outside world — gathering data and interacting with insurer portals, provider EHRs, HSA/FSA platforms, banks, and the broader web.
This team pushes the limits of AI and automation to build integrations that simply weren’t possible before. As an engineer on Integrations, you’ll design the infrastructure and systems that allow Granted to speak the language of the entire healthcare ecosystem.
Architect and build scalable integration frameworks that power data flows between Granted and external partners.
Leverage AI to automate interactions with complex, fragmented systems — from scraping messy insurer portals to interacting with APIs and structured data sources.
Own reliability, performance, and security for mission-critical data pipelines and orchestration layers.
Collaborate closely with product, infra, and domain experts to prioritize and ship high-leverage integrations.
Shape the technical direction of the pod as one of its foundational engineers.
Developing AI-driven agentic integrations with insurer portals that don’t have modern APIs.
Building resilient connectors to EHR systems, banking platforms, and benefits accounts.
Designing fault-tolerant orchestration systems that gracefully handle the messiness of the real world.
Extending our integration platform and developer tooling to accelerate new connections over time.
Bring 6-10+ years of backend engineering experience, with a track record of building distributed systems at scale.
Love solving problems at the intersection of messy real-world data and clean abstractions.
Have experience building integrations with complex or non-standard external systems
Communicate clearly and collaborate well across disciplines.
Thrive in high-autonomy, high-trust environments.
(Bonus) Have experience with healthcare data or complex fintech-like systems.
(Extra bonus) Have 10+ years of GPT-5 experience — or, failing that, a good sense of humor.
📢 You don't need to check every single box—if you're passionate, driven, and excited about the impact AI can make on the healthcare system, we'd love to hear from you!
