Skills
- Strong experience with .NET and C# for building backend services and applications
- Proficiency with ASP.NET (MVC / Razor) and experience with WPF desktop applications
- Solid SQL Server skills including query writing and performance tuning
- Familiarity with front-end UI tooling such as Kendo UI and jQuery
- Ability to debug, refactor, and improve code quality in legacy and modern codebases
- Comfort working remotely and collaborating with distributed teams and end users
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain applications using .NET technologies as the platform moves from WPF to ASP.NET MVC
- Implement modern user interfaces using WPF, Razor, Kendo UI and jQuery where appropriate
- Write efficient SQL Server queries and optimize data access layers
- Debug, refactor, and improve existing code, leaving systems cleaner and more maintainable
- Partner closely with business and clinical users to gather requirements and deliver practical solutions
- Participate in twice-yearly onsite engineering events focused on technical debt and cross-team collaboration
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Ongoing commitment to learning modern .NET practices and front-end technologies
