Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized OT treatment plans for pediatric clients focused on ADLs, play, feeding, motor coordination, and executive functioning
- Deliver direct therapy sessions and adapt interventions to meet each child’s goals and needs
- Design and instruct families in home programs and ensure carryover of strategies across environments
- Assess and address fine and gross motor skills, attention, and executive functioning
- Make appropriate cross-referrals and collaborate with PTs, SLPs, BCBAs, neuropsychologists, teachers, and physicians
- Maintain detailed clinical documentation, progress notes, and treatment plan updates
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and interdisciplinary planning
- Support center initiatives, team-building activities, and organizational committees
Education
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Illinois state Occupational Therapy license in good standing
- Relevant pediatric clinical training and supervised clinical experience
