Skills
- 4+ years software engineering or SRE experience
- Experience with blockchain infrastructure (validators, RPC, PoS concepts)
- Proficiency in a modern language (Go, Rust, Java, .NET, C/C++)
- Scripting skills (Python, bash, Perl) and automation aptitude
- Strong Linux and system-performance knowledge
- Cloud and virtualization experience (AWS/Azure/GCP, VMware/KVM, Docker)
- Container orchestration experience (Kubernetes)
- Infrastructure-as-code skills (Terraform or similar)
- Monitoring/observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog)
- Troubleshooting and debugging across distributed systems
- Familiarity with security best practices (encryption, access control, network security)
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure blockchain infrastructure and validator/RPC systems.
- Implement and improve monitoring, observability, and incident response for blockchain participation services.
- Automate operational processes and build tooling to streamline deployment, scaling, and recovery.
- Debug complex distributed blockchain protocols and resolve cross-system application, network, and server issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify infrastructure improvements and inform leadership strategy.
- Participate in and improve domain-specific on-call rotations and post-incident follow-up.
- Research emerging web3/blockchain trends and identify product opportunities that add business value.
- Define infrastructure as code and maintain reproducible environment configurations.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Equivalent practical experience in blockchain infrastructure and systems operations accepted
