ROLE SUMMARY:
Our Senior Commercialization Manager is responsible for driving product launch marketing / commercialization initiatives and projects for Fiberon. This includes responsibility for planning and managing communication strategies, development and execution of marketing assets with cross-functional teams and agency partners, developing and managing timelines, communicating project status updates, and budget management. The ideal candidate will effectively manage the marketing launch of Fiberon new products or services into the market, ensuring alignment with company objectives, market demands, and consumer needs.
Hybrid: Hybrid schedule of Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, at our Deerfield, IL office.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Own the commercialization strategy for Fiberon products and innovations; act as the product marketing lead by working closely with the brand manager and cross-functional teams – Category Management and Channel Marketing to create compelling marketing strategies for new products.
Create and document marketing communications plans for product launches and programs, identifying the product positioning, key reasons to believe, messaging and visual strategies, tactics and budget required to successfully launch to the market.
Utilize consumer insights to develop and execute all commercialization tactics for Fiberon product launches including, but not limited to, new product launch support, internal gate process participation, sales support, digital asset management, merchandising support, literature support, ecommerce management, and tradeshow support.
Work with the Fiberon brand manager to maintain deep understanding of the Fiberon brand identity, positioning and architecture, business priorities, and strategic initiatives. Use them as a guide for commercialization plans.
Work with Project Management to build out key deliverables and timelines associated with Commercialization owned activities, providing regular updates in team meetings, and elevating any risks to delivering plan.
Partner with the Consumer Centricity team to commission strategic value research that supports successful commercialization and drives impact across new product launches.
Provide direction to internal and external creative agencies for creation of visual, print, and digital content. Bridge gap between engineering and creative to provide any 3D files needed for renderings.
Support Tradeshow team by identifying priority products to display at national shows and provide supporting product content such as messaging, imagery, videos, and training content.
Assist in budget forecasting and management to optimize marketing investment and deliver on forecast expectations and business goals.
Communicate commercialization metrics and updates to cross-functional team members as appropriate, including Product Stage Gate updates and other regular updates.
Present commercialization plans and updates to leadership as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or related field.
5-8 years of business experience in marketing environment; experience in developing strategic communication and product marketing plans required.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Strong project management skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once.
Adaptability and flexibility to meet changing priorities and deadlines.
Omnichannel marketing experience strongly preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Prior experience with artificial intelligence applications and a background in sustainability marketing are both considered valuable assets.

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $90,000 USD - $143,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
