About the Role: The Facilities Manager is responsible for the oversight and maintenance of Foresight’s 25,000 square-foot facility in Boulder, Colorado. With this facility supporting both office and laboratory operations, this key position works closely with cross functional teams to deliver on Foresight’s business objective to provide real time patient testing with efficiency and quality. This is a full-time position working standard business hours, but may require the flexibility to work diverse schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. This position reports to the Director of Laboratory Support Operations.
What You Will Bring:
5+ years of experience in facilities management/maintenance supporting biotech and laboratory environments.
Proven ability to deliver actionable results to complex problems.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, technical manuals, engineering drawings, etc.
Experience in supporting business goals to scale operations through facilities modifications and exemplary maintenance
Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with cross functional teams and senior leadership
Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to deliver on end-to-end projects with a high level of autonomy.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with ability to work inclusively and collaboratively with a diverse population.
What You Will Do:
Manage the installation, repair, and maintenance of facilities.
Assist the Equipment Team in installation and tracking of laboratory equipment.
Develop, implement and maintain a strong inspection program for all interior and exterior areas, identifying concerns and taking appropriate corrective actions.
Coordinate and manage construction projects, as required.
Oversee site building maintenance systems including fire, security, and environmental monitoring and controls.
Direct preventative maintenance efforts for major facility equipment including HVAC, plumbing, electrical.
Oversee third party vendors providing onsite services (i.e. janitorial services, pest control).
Support compliance with regulatory bodies and local requirements, including documentation and record keeping.
Manage off site storage,
Develop, implement, manage and adhere to SOPs related to the facilities.
Serve as liaison with local authorities including fire, police, and utilities.
Identify, propose and implement strategic efficiency improvements in the facility.
Assist in response to off hours alarm notifications for facilities and environmental monitoring.
Guide troubleshooting and resolution of incident reports and CAPAs while driving continuous improvement.
Other duties as assigned.
This role is offering a salary between $90,000-120,000, and is eligible for equity offerings. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
