Warehouse Management System Manager
Skills
- Proven experience configuring, implementing, and maintaining WMS platforms (Logiwa, ShipHero, SAP HighJump, Manhattan, or similar).
- Hands-on IT support experience with warehouse hardware: barcode scanners, label/printer maintenance, and networked devices.
- Familiarity with incident management tools such as Jira Service Desk for logging and tracking issues.
- Strong data analysis skills to interpret inventory, order, and operational metrics.
- Excellent communication skills to translate technical issues for non-technical operations staff.
Responsibilities
- Triage, assess, and resolve WMS incidents based on operational impact and priority.
- Maintain WMS health: apply updates, perform troubleshooting, and ensure system stability.
- Provide on-site user support and training to warehouse staff on WMS features and best practices.
- Manage and maintain accurate product, inventory, and order data within the WMS.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process improvements.
- Manage IT peripherals and integration points: barcode scanners, label printers, and asset tracking systems.
- Recommend and implement WMS optimizations to streamline workflows and increase throughput.
- Document processes, system configurations, and incident resolutions for compliance and team knowledge.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, information technology, or a related field.
