- Experience with process audits and non-conformance management
- Proven use of DMAIC and continuous improvement methodologies
- Familiarity with SAP Quality module (QM) and ERP data practices
- Strong measurement and inspection skills using calipers, micrometers, gauges, multimeters
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent verbal communication in English and Spanish
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and coach problem-solving
- Hands-on manufacturing shop floor experience
Responsibilities
- Define and continuously revise quality goals for assigned areas
- Monitor performance metrics and report results to management and teams
- Drive and sustain corrective actions to improve quality performance
- Coordinate and document process audits; track closure of non-conformances
- Collaborate with marketing and R&D to define and revise product quality criteria
- Ensure proper use and data integrity of the Quality module in SAP
- Plan and execute yield improvement projects using DMAIC methodology
- Lead, coach, and participate in A3 problem-solving projects
- Perform and verify dimensional and functional inspections using relevant tools
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support manufacturing quality
Education
- B.S. degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent professional experience
