What You’ll Do as an Agency Business Consultant

• Partner with agency owners to analyze business performance and identify growth opportunities

• Develop actionable business plans focused on sales, marketing, staffing, and customer retention

• Provide guidance on recruiting, training, and coaching agency staff to improve productivity

• Conduct regular performance reviews and track progress against district benchmarks

• Offer solutions to improve efficiency in operations, technology adoption, and client engagement

• Deliver ongoing education on Farmers products, underwriting guidelines, and industry trends

• Act as a trusted advisor, helping agency owners navigate challenges and reach long-term goals

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is a business-minded professional with a consultative approach and a track record of driving measurable results.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)

• 2+ years of experience in business consulting, agency operations, or sales leadership

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies

• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities

• Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities

• Insurance industry experience and active P&C or Life & Health licenses are a plus
