The Role:

We’re looking for a passionate and curious, Associate Scientist of Purification Process Design join our team. If you’re excited by new challenges, solving complex problems, and learning every step of the way, you might just be the perfect fit. What You’ll Do:

• Assist in development of purification processes for biotherapeutics manufacturing

• Assist in the transfer of processes to clinical and commercial manufacturing facilities

• Technology development to reduce the cost and improve the efficiency of purification processes

Who You Are:

• BS in Engineering, Biochemistry, or related field with 0-3 years of industry relevant experience.

• Knowledgeable in chromatography and filtration theory, downstream development, buffer compounding and scale-up strategy

• Excellent experimental design and analysis skills

• Experience with Microsoft Office apps (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with chromatography operations including using AKTA systems

• Experience with filtration operation including executing bench-scale dead-end filtration, viral filtration, UF/DF, and depth filtration

• Experience with design of experiments (DOE) and analysis using statistical software packages (JMP, MATLAB, etc.)

• Experience with automation method development and operation using robotic liquid handling systems and high throughput chromatography resin screening

• Experience with multi column chromatography

• Experience with process modeling and chromatography mechanistic modeling

• Experience with continuous and connected processing

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $78,000 to $82,000; Base salary offered may vary depending on the individual’s skills, experience and competitive market value.

Additional total rewards include discretionary annual bonus, comprehensive benefits to include Medical, Dental and Vision, short-term and long-term disability, company paid basic life insurance, 401k company match, flexible work, generous paid time off and paid holiday, wellness and transportation benefits.
