The ideal candidate is hyper market-facing and analytically rigorous, skilled at translating complex market signals into actionable business cases and growth pathways. They should possess a deep understanding of eVisit’s products and their value to the market. This individual will partner with Product, Marketing, and Go-to-Market teams to shape pricing, packaging, and positioning decisions using data and insights to guide strategy and accelerate revenue growth.

1. Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis

  • Conduct deep-dive research and analysis on competitors, market trends, funding programs, and procurement policies across federal and commercial healthcare markets.
  • Maintain a continuous pulse on the market - tracking policy changes, technology shifts, and new entrants to anticipate opportunities and threats.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and executive briefings summarizing key market dynamics, competitor strategies, and implications for eVisit.
  • Manage and update market and competitive intelligence databases and tools to ensure the accuracy and relevance of insights.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure intelligence supports business development, pricing, and go-to-market strategies.

2. Market & Whitespace Opportunity Development

  • Conduct TAM/SAM/SOM analysis and segmentation to identify and prioritize growth levers across target markets.
  • Lead structured research into white-space opportunities, quantifying unmet needs, adjacent markets, and future product possibilities.
  • Build data-driven business cases to evaluate organic growth opportunities and inorganic growth scenarios (M&A, partnerships, build vs. buy).
  • Translate findings into actionable recommendations for executive decision-making, portfolio prioritization, and investment planning.

4. Strategic Planning & Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Partner with Go-to-Market (GTM), Product, and Finance teams to align insights with pricing, packaging, and product commercialization strategies.
  • Develop frameworks and processes that connect market research, opportunity analysis, and product planning into a unified growth strategy.
  • Support executive discussions, board materials, and annual planning with forward-looking market and product insights.
  • Collaborate on strategic partnerships, new business models, and innovation initiatives that expand eVisit’s addressable market.

5. External Engagement & Market Presence

  • Engage directly with analysts, clients, and ecosystem partners across healthcare, technology, and policy environments to maintain a deep understanding of the market.
  • Represent eVisit’s business perspective in industry discussions, conferences, and market forums.
  • Benchmark against competitors’ offerings, partnerships, and acquisitions to ensure eVisit remains differentiated and future-ready.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Experience: 6–10 years in competitive intelligence, market research, market strategy, or consulting, ideally within healthcare technology, SaaS, or public sector markets.
  • Analytical Depth: Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills; proven ability to assess markets, model ROI, and size opportunities (TAM/SAM/SOM).
  • Market Engagement: Demonstrated ability to engage directly with customers, prospects, and ecosystem stakeholders to validate market needs and inform product direction.
  • Strategic Orientation: Adept at identifying and sizing white-space opportunities and translating them into actionable, prioritized business plans.
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in competitive intelligence tools and databases such as Gartner, Advisory Board, Definitive, FPDS, USASpending.gov, SAM.gov, GovWin, or Lexis Nexis, and data analysis tools like Excel or Power BI.
  • Exceptional at distilling complex data into concise, executive-ready insights and presentations.
  • Competitive salary
  • Great benefits package including medical, dental, vision, HSA & FSA plans
  • 401(k)
  • Generous PTO plan, plus 12 paid national holidays
  • Fun, collaborative environment where the company is working to define the future of telemedicine
  • Excellent opportunity for professional growth
