Controller - Onsite
Everest Client seeks a Controller responsible for recording daily financial transactions, invoicing clients, payroll, and preparing month-end for three manufacturing locations. This role will maintain and file requisite documents for taxation compliance, monitor cash flow and produce financial reports to assist managers in taking strategic decisions.
Major Responsibilities
- Process payroll including reconciling and maintaining all payroll related general ledger accounts.
- Responsible for government remittances (State Sales Tax, Use Tax, 401k, etc.)
- Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Prepare and submit invoices to clients and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Ensure accuracy of all financial transactions.
- Posting journal entries.
- Monitor and track expenses.
- Manage month quarter and year end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Assist in preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Maintain the general ledger.
- Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements.
- Miscellaneous office requirements.
- Document and/or create Accounting SOPs
- Ability to interpret and explain numbers involving opportunities and risk
Qualifications/Skills:
- 5+ years full-cycle accounting
- Accounting Degree or equivalent experience
- Strategic mindset
- Manufacturing Industry experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Establishing accounts
