DevOps Lead Engineer
Skills
- Expert hands-on experience with .NET and SQL Server build/deploy tooling (msbuild, dotnet, SSDT, DACPAC)
- Deep experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines (Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, TeamCity, Octopus, Harness)
- Strong Azure platform skills including Azure SQL, Service Bus, Key Vault, Blob Storage
- Kubernetes experience, preferably AKS
- Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and ARM
- Windows and Linux administration experience
- Familiarity with CDN providers (Cloudflare, Akamai) and API management
- Monitoring and observability tool experience (DataDog, Splunk, ELK)
- Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder presentation skills
Responsibilities
- Manage CI/CD pipeline operations including source control, build systems, deployments, permissions, and networking
- Collaborate with Development, Data, PM, and InfoSec to ensure operability and security of Azure-hosted applications
- Participate in architecture, requirements, and planning sessions with stakeholders
- Design and deliver projects to keep infrastructure operational, resilient, and cost-effective
- Train, mentor, and grow DevOps engineers to meet future platform needs
- Participate in planning and daily stand-ups with multi-region DevOps staff
- Maintain and test business continuity and disaster recovery plans annually
- Serve as escalation point to prioritize and resolve complex or urgent incidents
- Manage vendor and contractor relationships for software and systems maintenance
- Ensure targeted uptime and reliability for production applications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Relevant certifications (Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform) are a plus
