- Deep React Native expertise and proven track record building large production apps
- Strong mobile architecture, performance tuning, and platform best practices
- Hands-on experience with native iOS (Swift/SwiftUI) and/or Android (Kotlin/Jetpack) development
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical initiatives and influence product/design
- Experience mentoring senior engineers and shaping engineering culture
Responsibilities
- Define and drive long-term architecture and technical direction for React Native mobile apps
- Act as principal hands-on contributor setting standards for code quality, performance, and scalability
- Align mobile and web teams to deliver a consistent, unified UX and shared platform components
- Collaborate with product and design to prioritize and sequence major mobile initiatives
- Establish scalable patterns, frameworks, and development standards across the mobile org
- Champion architecture reviews, performance optimization, and technical rigor
- Identify and mitigate technical risks while enabling experimentation and innovation
- Mentor Staff and Senior Engineers to elevate engineering quality and grow leaders
- Serve as the mobile subject-matter expert across the broader organization
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience
- Advanced degree or continued technical education is a plus
