Skills
- Proven people management experience leading developer teams (4+ years).
- Strong technical background in Java, Spring, AWS (EC2, ECS), Postgres, and MongoDB.
- Familiarity with Python and automation frameworks (e.g., Robot Framework) for testing and microservice automation.
- Experience with microservices architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and observability/metrics.
- Ability to operate in ambiguous environments and drive cross-functional initiatives to outcomes.
- Advocate of test-first approaches and production monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Standardize design and development patterns to accelerate the software development lifecycle for core services.
- Unify development, deployment, and test practices across teams to improve scalability and reliability.
- Participate in solution design and ensure timely delivery of high-quality, well-tested code.
- Partner with Product and TPMs to define team mission, vision, and roadmap.
- Provide architectural direction and strategic oversight for new initiatives.
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members to raise technical and organizational capability.
- Drive process improvements, Agile delivery practices, and incident response leadership.
- Conduct and participate in code reviews and lead during development hurdles and incidents.
- Balance priorities, assess impact/effort, and manage cross-team commitments.
Education
- No specific degree required; relevant professional experience and demonstrable skills prioritized.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience preferred but not required.
