The Software Engineer designs, creates, maintains, audits and improves software applications by performing coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting throughout the application development process. This position works on projects/matters of limited complexity, and their work is closely managed.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develop user-facing features using React.js.
2. Writes, tests and implements efficient code.
3. Works within an Agile environment, responds to change quickly, including re-focusing development efforts and adapting to evolving requirements.
4. Is positive and solution-oriented with team members and stakeholders.
5. Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing applications for performance.

6. Learn and apply modern front-end tools, frameworks, and workflows.

7. Participate in code reviews and follow best practices.

Salary range for this role is: $90,000-$105,000

EDUCATION: 
1.    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

EXPERIENCE: 
1.    0-3 years of related experience.

COMPETENCIES – SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:

1. Solid understanding of JavaScript

2. Hands-on experience with React.js (academic, personal projects, or internships)

3. Understanding of RESTful APIs and integrating with back-end services.

4. Strong technical competency.

5. Basic knowledge of GitHub for version control.

6. Familiarity with AI tools

7. Familiarity with Cloud Computing Services

8. Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.

9. Good communication and teamwork abilities.
10. Logical, analytical and creative approach to solving problems.
11. Ability to work both in a team and independently.
12. Ability to handle multiple priorities and work under pressure.

13. Ability to adapt to change.
