- Experience in brokerage/financial services platforms (B2B); digital assets and margin a plus
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems, observability, CI/CD, and automated testing
- Regulatory and operational compliance awareness for financial systems
- Excellent stakeholder communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Proven track record modernizing legacy systems and cost optimization
Responsibilities
- Define and oversee architecture for scalable, resilient, secure systems (microservices, API- and event-driven)
- Execute strategic vision for the brokerage platform and deliver business-critical products across asset classes
- Develop core platform frameworks, libraries, and developer tooling to improve velocity
- Identify and implement AI/automation opportunities across processes and products
- Recruit, mentor, and grow high-performing engineering teams fostering accountability and innovation
- Collaborate with product, operations, and senior leadership to prioritize and deliver initiatives
- Champion CI/CD, automated testing, proactive monitoring, and 24x7 operational excellence
- Drive modernization of legacy systems and optimize costs and performance
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Advanced degree (MS/MBA) preferred but not required
