Lead Project Manager

Company Description

Domino’s Pizza, which began in 1960 as a single store location in Ypsilanti, MI, has had a lot to celebrate lately: we’re a reshaped, reenergized brand of honesty, transparency and accountability – not to mention, great food! In the rise to becoming a true technology leader, the brand is now consistently one of the top five companies in online transactions and 65% of our sales in the U.S. are taken through digital channels. The brand continues to ‘deliver the dream’ to local business owners, 90% of which started as delivery drivers and pizza makers in our stores. That’s just the tip of the iceberg…or as we might say, one “slice” of the pie! If this sounds like a brand you’d like to be a part of, consider joining our team!

Job Description

The Lead Project Manager is responsible for driving initiative-level execution and field readiness across national and regional rollouts. This role serves as a bridge between corporate planning and field execution—translating strategic priorities into clear, actionable activation plans that ensure the Domino’s system is informed, equipped, and confident to deliver results.

As an embedded member of the Operations Services team, this role collaborates cross-functionally with the Innovation, Field Operations, and Center of Excellence teams to manage rollout readiness, communication, and performance tracking and feedback management.

Main responsibilities

(40%) Initiative Planning & Activation Execution

•    Partner with the Vice President to develop detailed activation plans for national initiatives—aligning scope, timing, and field readiness milestones.
•    Coordinate end-to-end rollout logistics including resource development, communication timing, and post-launch follow-up.
•    Own initiative-level project tracking, risk identification, and reporting to ensure on-time delivery and alignment with business goals.
•    Lead initiative readiness meetings and collaborate with Field Operations and COEs to confirm systems, tools, and training are launch-ready.
•    Support pilot markets to collect insights and refine activation playbooks prior to national expansion.

(30%) Field Readiness & Communication

•    Serve as a key liaison to Business Consultants, ensuring consistent and transparent communication during each rollout.
•    Translate cross-functional updates into clear, actionable messages that drive confidence and clarity for the field.
•    Maintain two-way communication channels between field teams and the activation group, ensuring feedback is captured, tracked, and acted upon.
•    Develop post-launch feedback summaries to share field sentiment and adoption progress with leadership, field teams and project teams.

(20%) Reporting, Insights & Continuous Improvement

•    Develop initiative dashboards and reporting in partnership with Field Leadership and Analytics teams to monitor readiness and post-launch impact.
•    Identify trends, obstacles, and opportunities based on field feedback and performance metrics.
•    Provide actionable recommendations to improve rollout efficiency, field preparedness, training adoption and engagement.
•    Support continuous improvement processes for activation playbooks, templates, and resource libraries.

(10%) Cross-Functional Collaboration & Brand Representation

•    Partner with COEs, Innovation, and Marketing to ensure operational initiatives are designed with field input and operational alignment.
•    Represent the Field Activation perspective in cross-functional planning sessions, offering insights to enhance implementation feasibility and field adoption.
•    Support Business Planning Meetings, Rallies, and other key events as part of initiative alignment and field support.

Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree in business, Communications, Training, HR, or related field preferred.
•    Minimum 5 years’ experience within operations, project management and training; experience as a multi-unit supervisor or Franchise Trainer preferred
•    Strong project management skills with the ability to lead complex, enterprise-wide rollouts.
•    Ability to influence people across multiple departments.
•    Analytical and adaptable thinker—comfortable making decisions in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to translate complex updates into simple, actionable steps.
•    Skilled in change management, coaching, and field engagement.
•    Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
•    Ability to travel 25%+ including overnight travel.
