Job Purpose:

We are seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer with a strong background in data engineering, analytics engineering, and proficiency in SQL, Python, R, and Snowflake. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing and maintaining data solutions and pipelines, optimizing data quality, and enabling advanced analytics. This position also requires experience in digital marketing data collection, privacy compliance, and providing mentorship to junior team members.

• Data Engineering & Analytics:
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and data solutions to support analytics initiatives.
• Work with SQL, Python, and R to analyze large datasets and develop insights that drive business decisions.
• Utilize Snowflake, Alteryx, and Azure to optimize data infrastructure and improve reporting capabilities.
• Web Data Collection & Marketing:
• Implement and manage client-side web data collection using tools like Google Tag Manager, Salesforce WebSDK, or similar platforms.
• Collaborate with digital marketing teams to support cookies, pixels, CAPI, and campaign optimization for better targeting and insights.
• Ensure adherence to privacy and compliance laws in all web data collection processes.
• Database Design & Data Quality Assurance:
• Design and maintain databases and data models to ensure effective data organization and quality assurance.
• Conduct data quality checks to ensure that data is accurate, complete, and consistent.
• Leadership & Mentorship:
• Lead small project teams and guide junior team members in their data engineering and analytics tasks.
• Provide mentorship and support to foster a collaborative and learning environment within the team.
• Collaboration & Communication:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
• Effectively communicate complex technical concepts and data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Create and maintain documentation for data systems, processes, and solutions to ensure clarity and transparency.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience:
• 6+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or related fields.
• Proven experience with SQL, Python, and R, with extensive knowledge of Snowflake, Alteryx, Azure, and business intelligence tools.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in client-side web data collection scripting such as Google Tag Manager, Salesforce WebSDK, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of database design, data modeling, and data quality assurance.
• Familiarity with GA4 data model is preferred.
• Soft Skills:
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret and manage complex data.
• Excellent communication, documentation, organizational, and project management skills.
• Ability to manage small teams and provide mentorship to junior team members.
• Industry Knowledge:
• Familiarity with digital marketing concepts (cookies, pixels, CAPI, campaign optimization) and related privacy and compliance laws is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with GA4 data model is a plus.
• Certifications in data engineering, cloud technologies (e.g., Azure), or business intelligence are advantageous.
