American Express Travel Related Services Company, Inc. seeks Managers, Data Governance to analyze and interpret statistical data to identify significant methods to harmonize key Data Quality, Data Definition, Data Creation, Data Sharing, and Data Usage policies and guidelines. Define frameworks, operating models, and change management considerations for data governance and management in support of new and existing data capabilities using historical data. Modify and implement new, repeatable, and reliable business processes in order to execute effective data management and analysis in collaboration with data owners and users. Ensure appropriate protections for data integrity, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
Position requires a Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Analytics, Information Technology, Business Administration, Information Systems, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and 1 year of experience with the creation and execution of formal data governance and data management programs. Experience must include: 1 year of experience interpreting business challenges and strategies, connecting those to data and capabilities, and driving improvements through data management; 1 year of experience with connecting the data governance agenda to enterprise priorities and balancing the needs of customers, partners, colleagues, and shareholders; 1 year of experience with program management with stakeholders across a diverse and global set of business units; 1 year of experience with managing a large database, cleaning data, and creating live front-end visualizations and dashboards to aid data comprehension; 1 year of experience working with business stakeholders and business analysts to define the intended use of data; and 1 year of experience with Collibra, CSS, GoLang, HTML, Intuit QuickBooks, Java, JavaScript, MongoDB, Python, QGIS, R, and SQL. Telecommuting is available up to 2 days per week.

Salary Range: $94,557.00 - $165,000.00 annually
