We are seeking a results-driven Mechanical and Controls Project Manager with a solid background in Plumbing and HVAC systems to oversee projects in data centers and large-scale commercial construction environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing mechanical scopes—including HVAC, plumbing, and building automation/controls systems—from planning through closeout, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Manage full-cycle mechanical and controls projects within data centers and commercial facilities.
• Lead coordination and execution of HVAC, plumbing, and building automation systems.
• Interface with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and cross-functional project teams to ensure alignment.
• Review construction documents, specifications, and submittals for accuracy and adherence to scope.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, procurement schedules, and change orders.
• Oversee installation, integration, and commissioning of mechanical and control systems.
• Ensure compliance with project timelines, budgets, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Conduct regular site visits and inspections, resolving any field-related issues promptly.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure timely completion of work packages.
• Support commissioning teams with functional testing and system validations for data center readiness.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7+ years of experience in mechanical project management with emphasis on HVAC and plumbing.
• Proven experience managing mechanical and controls systems in data centers and/or large commercial construction.
• Familiarity with building automation systems (BAS/BMS) and controls integration.
• Deep understanding of mission-critical infrastructure and mechanical system redundancy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, Bluebeam, and scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills with ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
