We’re looking for a Product and UX Designer to join our in-person team and help shape our platform’s user experience from the ground up. You’ll work alongside founders, engineers, and customers, contributing to clean, intuitive designs that make complex radio spectrum data accessible—even for non-experts. This is a hands-on role where you’ll learn quickly, take on challenging design problems, and grow with us as we build a novel, deeply technical product.
Support the Design & UX of Our Core Product – Translate high-level goals into user-friendly interfaces and data visualizations.
Collaborate with the Whole Team – Work closely with founders, engineers, and customers to refine existing features and brainstorm new ones.
Rapid Prototyping – Quickly test and iterate on new workflows, collecting feedback to guide improvements.
Run research projects with various clients and stakeholders - including interviews and insights synthesis.
Build new and adapt existing design system libraries in Figma - for web and mobile (and potentially other) platforms.
Refine Branding & Design Language – Contribute to consistent, appealing branding across product, marketing materials, and more.
Additional Design Projects – Pitch in on product graphics, marketing collateral, and web updates as needed.
Grow fast with real opportunities – We’ll keep expanding your scope and giving you bigger challenges to help you reach your goals. If you don’t know exactly what role you want to grow into, you’ll have the freedom to take on different responsibilities and find the right path.Who You Are
Some experience (professional or academic) in product/UX design, preferably within a fast-paced or startup environment.
Familiarity with designing complex applications or visualizations, even if it’s through coursework or personal projects.
Ability to create functional, user-friendly interfaces and clearly explain design decisions.
Comfortable collaborating with technical teams and open to learning about novel technologies.
Adaptable and able to juggle multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
Comfortable planning and running client facing discovery research initiatives including interview design, moderation and post-research synthesis into key insights to inform design decisions.
Advanced understanding of Figma including working with Design systems - ideal experience includes building design systems from scratch and working with existing ones, adding new components and working with design token libraries.
Keeps up-to-date on the latest product design tooling and trends. Ability to rapidly learn and maintain adaptability in role shape and process implementation.
Fast learners over specific backgrounds – We care more about how quickly you can pick up new skills than where you’ve worked before.
Intellectual honesty – The right answer matters more than being right. You challenge assumptions, test ideas, and pivot when needed.
Adaptability – We’re organized, but sometimes things change quickly. You find a way to make it work and balance short term deliverables with long term goals.
Ownership of outcomes – You optimize your own time, focus on what matters to deliver quickly, and cut out inefficiencies.
Not building in a vacuum – You stay connected to the rest of our teams and our customers to make sure all the pieces fit together.
