Infrastructure Engineer
Skills
- 5+ years in production/site-reliability engineering or 5+ years server-side engineering with infrastructure focus
- Solid understanding of at least two: public cloud, Linux systems administration, DevOps tooling
- Basic coding skills for automation and guardrails
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Experience mentoring and conducting code/architecture reviews
Responsibilities
- Develop technical and business solutions enabling engineers to improve product quality and system reliability
- Drive improvements to core infrastructure: production clusters, networking, databases, and observability systems
- Champion best practices in code reviews, technical designs, and launch plans
- Own incident management, postmortems, and fire drill processes
- Work with engineering leadership to set reliability goals and prioritize production work
- Build automation, guardrails, and tooling to reduce toil and improve operational confidence
- Mentor and advise engineers on architecture, reliability, and operational practices
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Equivalent practical experience accepted
