Summary:
Working at Delinea means being a part of a highly capable, collaborative, and agile development team. Delinea creates awesome software that's used by thousands of IT professionals all over the globe. This is a Staff Software Engineering position to be the key technical troubleshooter for the Cloud Suite team. Positions reports to the team Manager and works closely with support and product management.
Location: Preference for being hybrid in the Lehi, UT office, but remote will be considered.
What You'll Do:
Tackle hard technical problems in a Saas product with agents installed across Customer servers.
Troubleshoot and coordinate with Customers and Support on product escalations.
Provide guidance to subordinates within the latitude of established company policies.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to our core technologies.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration within the team.
What You'll Need:
Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience working with customers on issues and escalations.
2+ years of experience running an Agile Sprint team or very strong technical and personal skills.
7+ years of experience in working in technology based organizations.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. Proven track record of solving difficult technical problems.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with a globally-distributed team. Mastery of English language.
Passionate about providing high-quality solutions to our customers, on-time, and on-budget.
Familiarity with web-based security principles and best practices.
We'd Love to See:
Experience with large codebases and unit testing -- mock frameworks, automation testing, database testing, etc.
Experience working with client agents used by customers across their server infrastructure
Experience developing in Go.
Strong design skills and full software development lifecycle experience required.
Experience developing SaaS applications on a microservices architecture that integrate with a wide variety of other SaaS vendors and enterprise systems.
Experience with Azure DevOps and Azure DevOps pipelines is a plus.
Ability to quickly read and understand both new and existing code.
Ability to look at the big picture, come up with great new ideas and execute those ideas by writing code to make it happen.
Experience with Agile software development methodologies
Experience with cloud-based technologies (e.g. Azure, AWS)
Experience working with mobile app development (Android, IOS).
Experience with DevOps practices (e.g. continuous integration, continuous deployment)
