Quality Engineer - Cloud Automation

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to join our team, The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automation framework development, system design, and a strong understanding of cloud-native software engineering principles.

Role Summary:

• Focusing on building a cutting-edge, cloud-native automation framework hosted on platforms like Azure or GCP.
• Play a crucial role in developing and maintaining automation frameworks that drive the state-of-the-art Pharmacy Services – Claim Processing Application.
• Work on integrating cloud-native solutions, enhancing performance, and ensuring seamless operation within a highly scalable and secure environment.

Required Qualifications

3+ years of experience in test automation and software quality assurance, with a focus on API testing including the following. ​

• Proven experience designing and implementing automation frameworks using industry-standard tools. ​

• Strong programming skills (Python, Java, etc. ​).

• Experience with cloud testing platforms and methodologies. ​

• Comprehensive understanding of API architecture and Testing framework like Playwright, Cypress​ and similar tools.

• Experience with RESTful, SOAP, GraphQL, or similar API technologies. ​

• Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub, GitLab CI, Jenkins

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to lead high performance software development testing teams.

• Familiarity with AI/ML testing principles (beneficial but not primary. ​

• Playwright experience is preferred

• Experience in working both independently as well as part of a cross-functional team

• Background in cloud infrastructure testing, cloud-hosted testing, or SaaS testing. ​

• Certification in relevant testing or automation disciplines. ​

• Experience mentoring teams and establishing testing best practices. ​

• Familiarity with GenAI concepts and usability in test automation. ​

• Experience with data quality assurance for systems integration.

• Knowledge of IBM i-Series (AS/400) systems and automation tools like UiPath.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$72,100.00 - $144,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
