Financing the future of energy!
Energy demand is rising for the first time in decades, driving an urgent need for more infrastructure to deliver affordable, reliable and clean electricity. New clean energy infrastructure requires domestic supply chains for critical minerals and components, as well as large amounts of capital. Unfortunately, accessing the necessary financing at each stage of a project lifecycle presents challenges for developers and manufacturers.
Crux is the capital markets platform changing the way clean energy and manufacturing projects are financed in the U.S. We have raised $77 million from top investors including Andreessen Horowitz, Lowercarbon Capital, New System Ventures, Overture, Ardent Venture Partners, QED, and Canapi — alongside strategic investors who collectively generate billions of dollars of tax credits annually.
The traditional process for financing clean energy is manual, opaque, and slow. We’ve built products that solve part of that problem — now we’re expanding their breadth and depth with AI.
We’re hiring our first AI Product Engineer to work hand-in-hand with customers, product, commercial, and legal teams to reimagine the way transactions happen in clean energy finance, starting with diligence. You won’t just be building features — you’ll be co-designing the processes and systems that define how we ship high-quality AI products at Crux. Much of this framework doesn’t exist yet — and you’ll help invent it.
Collaborate directly with customers and internal stakeholders to design, build, and ship production-grade AI features for clean energy finance.
Lead the build-out of Crux’s AI stack — from model selection to orchestration, evaluation, and iteration.
Define and refine how we bring AI products from prototype to production, establishing best practices along the way.
Build across the stack (TypeScript, React, SQL) with performance, scalability, and usability in mind.
