Content Marketing Journalist

The Role 

This is not your typical content marketing role. We’re looking for a B2B storyteller and strategist who can think like a journalist, act like a marketer, and deliver like a publisher with an internal Marketing team primed for growth. 

You’ll source and shape compelling narratives from across the agency, interviewing internal and external subject matter experts, identifying client successes, and uncovering trends that position Cramer as the go-to partner for leading brands. 

This role requires a strong understanding of B2B buying behavior and the ability to craft content that is both insightful and persuasive for decision-makers at all levels. You’ll work across the full content lifecycle: researching, writing, editing, publishing, and optimizing stories and campaigns that educate, drive engagement for Cramer’s services. 

You’ll collaborate closely with strategy, creative, and demand generation teams to scale content production and bring our brand voice to life across channels, from thought leadership POVs and case studies to social content and video scripts. 

 

What You’ll Do:

Story Development & Content Creation 

  • Act as an internal journalist, proactively sourcing stories from Cramer’s teams and clients to showcase expertise, innovation, and results. 
  • Write and edit thought leadership articles, POVs, newsletters, case studies, landing pages, and social content designed to educate and persuade B2B audiences. 
  • Develop multi-format content including video scripts, email nurture sequences, and sales presentation narratives that educate prospects on all Cramer’s offerings. 
  • Repurpose long-form content into snackable, channel-optimized assets for LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts. 

Content Planning & Operations 

  • Take charge of a dynamic content calendar that connects audiences to Cramer’s vision and drives measurable growth across web, email, and social. 
  • Coordinate workflows with designers, video editors, and freelancers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality assets. 
  • Maintain and update a pipeline of content in WordPress, HubSpot, and other martech platforms. 

Optimization & Measurement 

  • Analyze content performance metrics (traffic, engagement, leads) and translate insights into actionable improvements. 
  • Apply SEO and CRO best practices to ensure content reaches and converts the right audiences. 
  • Continuously test and refine messaging, formats, and distribution strategies for maximum impact.

  • Monthly SME Interviews 
  • Biweekly Long-form Content Series (i.e., playbooks, customer case studies, …) 
  • Biweekly Email Newsletter 
  • 6+ Social Posts/Week ‍ 
  • 4 Company + 2 Exec Posts or Employee Advocacy Templates 
  • Across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook 

Required Skills 

  • Exceptional storytelling and editorial skills with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, engaging, and persuasive narratives. 
  • A deep understanding of B2B buyer psychology and how to create content for multiple stakeholders in long, complex buying cycles. 
  • A well-developed understanding of how to go from idea to execution in various media formats: Email, Blog, Case Study, Trend Analysis, Reels, Short and Long Form Video… 
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress), marketing automation tools (HubSpot), and collaboration platforms (Asana). 
  • Equally comfortable crafting big-picture content strategies and rolling up your sleeves to write, edit, and publish. 
  • A proactive, curious mindset and the discipline to meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment. 
  • 2 – 4 Years Experience 

Preferred Skills 

  • Experience in an agency or B2B environment with a focus on education through demand generation. 
  • Basic design and editing skills (Canva, Adobe, or similar). 
  • Knowledge of SEO, analytics, and reporting tools (Google Analytics, Looker Studio). 
  • Fluency with AI-powered tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Jasper, Midjourney) to accelerate content development and ideation. 
  • Photography or Video experience.
