Cox Automotive is seeking a Software Engineer II to join our Manheim team based in Atlanta, GA. The Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining application and system code to deliver new features, enhance performance, and improve maintainability. This role actively contributes to reducing technical debt and aligning development efforts with product and technology roadmaps. Additionally, the Software Engineer participates in Agile planning, offers technical guidance, and stays informed on emerging industry trends.
As a Software Engineer, you will work collaboratively within a cross-functional Agile team to design and develop middleware and integrations that support the services connecting our business systems and partner applications. You will build reliable, API-centric services on AWS, implement robust system-to-system integrations, and help ensure our platforms are secure, observable, and highly available.
