Skills
- Proficiency with Spark and Flink for stream and batch processing
- Strong Java and Spring framework experience
- Hands-on Python for tooling and data engineering tasks
- Experience with Kafka, Hive, ClickHouse, Cassandra or similar big-data stores
- Designing distributed systems and low-latency services at scale
- Building feature pipelines / feature store integrations for ML workflows
- API design, NoSQL data modeling, and production reliability practices
- Performance optimization, profiling, and complexity analysis
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and automate large-scale streaming data processing systems for low-latency feature extraction and delivery
- Build and maintain scalable data infrastructure and pipelines using best-in-class engineering practices
- Design optimal data models for storage and retrieval to meet product and business SLAs
- Ensure high availability, reliability, and low-latency operation of platform services
- Own projects end-to-end: investigation, benchmarking, implementation, and operational health
- Define and execute short- and long-term architectural roadmaps for the marketing data platform
- Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and product owners to translate requirements into solutions
- Implement data quality, validation, and monitoring processes to ensure accuracy and consistency
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (required)
- Master’s degree in a related field (preferred)
