Engineer/Designer

In this role you will:
- Perform engineering calculations and develop plan markups under the guidance of senior engineers or principals.
- Manage site work independently and oversee project progress.
- Attend client and project meetings alongside senior leadership.
- Support construction administration, including site observations and adherence to safety standards.
- Mentor and oversee junior engineers, fostering their professional growth.
- Complete design documentation (schematic design, design development, construction documents, permitting, bidding, and construction administration) for projects of various sizes under supervision.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with company core values.
- Represent the company with professionalism and integrity at all times.
- Pursue ongoing professional development and continuous learning.
- 5+ years of professional engineering experience.
- Professional Engineering (PE) License required.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam for drafting and design.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Solid understanding of engineering principles, project management, and construction administration.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- High attention to detail with strong problem-solving capability.
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited college/university, OR
- Associate’s degree in a technical or vocational field with equivalent practical experience.
