Information System Security Manager (ISSM)

This position is contingent on contract award 

Connected Logistics is looking for an Information System Security Manager (ISSM) to support the U.S. Airforce Academy (USAFA) Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Cybersecurity Services.

In this position you shall be skilled and capable of performing the role of ISSM for the USAFA, defining, and staffing a team. You shall act as technical advisors to the USAFA and shall be primarily responsible for maintaining the overall security posture of the systems within USAFA and shall be accountable for the implementation of DoDI 8510.01 (Risk Management Framework for DoD Information Technology), AFI 17-130, Cybersecurity Program Management paragraph 2.10 and AFI 17-101 (Risk Management Framework for Air Force Information Technology).

The USAFA cybersecurity program is developed by ISSMs that includes Cybersecurity architecture, requirements, objectives and policies, cybersecurity personnel, and cybersecurity processes and procedures. ISSMs manage cyber incident response and network account access to include account provisioning  support documents. Moreover, ISSM responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, its role definition defined within DoDI 8500.01(Cyber Security), 8510.01 (Risk Management Framework for Air Force Information Technology), and AFI 17-101 (Risk Management Framework for Air Force Information Technology). 

Requirements

• 5 years of experience
•  B.S. Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, from an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited or Certified Association Executive (CAE) designated institution 
• T3 Investigation
• Current DOD 8140 certification such as CISM or CISSO or FITSP-M or GCIA or GCSA or GCIH or GSLC or GICSP or CISSP-ISSMP or CISSP
