As VP of Finance, you’ll be a key strategic leader driving Compass’s financial vision across the company and its growing network of joint venture partnerships. In this high-impact role, you’ll oversee all core financial functions—including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial systems—while serving as a trusted advisor to executive and operational leaders. You’ll bring sharp analysis, sound judgment, and a collaborative mindset to help guide sustainable growth and support strategic decision-making at every level of the organization.
Financial Operations:
Lead the Finance functions for high growth company that develops and manages Joint Ventures with Physicians and Health Systems
Oversee the company’s financial systems, applications, outsourced partner relationships, and the team that delivers on core processes
Create and deliver standardized and scalable processes
Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders and ensure the integrity of financial data and compliance with internal controls
Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury management, audit and tax
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting/finance standards and regulations identify and assess financial risks, implementing effective risk mitigation strategies
Develop long-term strategy that scale processes and teams to meet the needs of the organization including designing optimal insourced / outsourced strategy
Own key partner relationships across audit, insurance, accounting, tax, and treasury Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency within the centers
Serve as a liaison between the finance department and other departments, as well as external stakeholders such as investors and regulatory bodies
Financial Strategy and Planning:
Develop and implement financial strategies, processes, and tools that deliver insights and scalability for a high-growth organization
Oversee team of Analysts that provide finance leadership to Operations and our Joint Ventures
Stay informed about economic trends, industry changes, and regulatory developments that may impact the organization Partner with CEO, COO and CFO and other senior leaders to develop and implement the long-term financial strategy
Team Leadership and Development:
Build and lead a high-performing finance team that delivers on Compass’ Mission and Values
Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities for team members
Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred
10+ years in a senior financial leadership role
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and best financial practices
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
Track record of successful financial management and strategic decision-making
