Sr Power BI Developer

Bellevue, WA (5 Days/Week Onsite)

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Power BI Developer to lead the design, development, and deployment of business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in data modeling, DAX, and dashboard development, and will play a key role in transforming raw data into actionable insights for business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI.
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Build and optimize data models using DAX and Power Query.
• Integrate Power BI with various data sources including SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, and cloud platforms.
• Implement row-level security and manage user access to reports.
• Monitor and maintain performance of Power BI solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.
• Stay current with Power BI updates and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in BI development, with at least 3 years focused on Power BI.
• Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Azure services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Synapse, SQL Database).
• Knowledge of other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Microsoft certifications (e.g., DA-100: Analyzing Data with Microsoft Power BI).

The base salary range for this position is $92,250 - $144,964, plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies. Benefits available to eligible employees in this role include medical, dental, and vision insurance, comprehensive employee assistance program, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off and holidays.
