Frontend Engineer, Media Platform
Skills
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
- Deep experience with React and modern front-end tooling
- Practical knowledge of UI infrastructure, testing frameworks, and CI/CD
- Experience writing robust end-to-end and integration tests (e.g., Playwright, Cypress)
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating with backend services
- Understanding of performance optimization and cross-browser compatibility
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Media Platform components in the Cloudflare Dashboard (Images, Stream, Realtime).
- Develop standalone media UI components and applications such as video players, upload tools, and web conferencing interfaces.
- Optimize front-end performance and responsiveness for large-scale media workloads.
- Implement and maintain testing, CI/CD pipelines, and UI infrastructure for reliable releases.
- Collaborate with backend engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver end-to-end features.
- Drive projects independently from concept through production and operational monitoring.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Demonstrable portfolio or work history of shipped frontend projects
