Staff Engineer - Java Full Stack - Futures Engineering
Skills
- Proficient in Java back-end development, especially microservices.
- Experience with Apache Kafka for event streaming.
- Hands-on with MongoDB or AWS DocumentDB NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with Apache Solr, ZooKeeper, and HashiCorp Vault.
- Experience with Kubernetes and CI/CD tools.
- Working knowledge of ReactJS or similar JavaScript frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and optimize server-side applications, RESTful APIs, and microservices using Java.
- Implement event-driven architectures with Apache Kafka for real-time data processing.
- Develop frontend features with ReactJS and integrate with backend services.
- Optimize application performance, security, and reliability.
- Deploy and manage applications on Kubernetes, ensuring scalability and high availability.
- Provide technical support and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
