We are seeking an Azure Databricks DevOps Lead to join our internal projects team in a full-time, remote role.
About the Role
This is a leadership position where you will design, architect, and optimize our Azure-based Data Lakehouse platform. You’ll collaborate with internal teams to build scalable, secure, and cost-efficient data solutions.
What You’ll Do
Architect and optimize Databricks Pipelines for large-scale data processing
Manage Azure infrastructure components (Databricks, AKS/ACI, Storage, Networking)
Implement monitoring & observability frameworks with Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana
Enable microservices-based architecture for modular data solutions
Drive automation, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and CI/CD using Terraform, ARM, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps
What We’re Looking For
9+ years in Data & Analytics
5+ years of DevOps experience with Azure & Databricks
Strong expertise in Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and Azure Services
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and scripting (Python, Bash)
Familiarity with Data Governance, Security, and Cost Optimization
Bonus Skills
Knowledge of Event-driven architectures (Kafka, Event Grid)
Understanding of Data Mesh principles
