Position Overview

As the Shopify Frontend Developer, you’ll be a key contributor to our e-commerce team, building and maintaining high-quality Shopify themes and apps for the Alani Nu website.

Requirements

·         Experience: 3–5 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Shopify theme development

·         Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

·         Strong knowledge of Shopify Theme Development and Liquid

·         Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Ruby

·         Experience with Shopify APIs and webhooks

·         Experience with Git for version control

·         Experience working with AI technologies, including GPT-based tools

·         Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills

·         Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Key Responsibilities

·         Collaborate with the E-Commerce team to deliver high-quality Shopify solutions

·         Develop and maintain Shopify websites, themes, scripts, and apps

·         Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code with a focus on Shopify Liquid

·         Gather and refine technical specifications to align with business needs

·         Partner with marketing and creative teams to enhance website user experience

·         Stay informed on industry trends and apply best practices to e-commerce strategies

·         Coordinate with external vendors and third-party developers as needed

·         Research and source partners, apps, and AI integrations to improve Shopify functionality

·         Use version control (Git) to manage codebases

The base salary range for this position is dependent on experience and location. The final offer will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, and qualifications. This position may be eligible for other compensation, including bonuses and Restricted Stock Units (subject to company plans).
