Software Engineer - Connect Cloud
Skills
- Strong object-oriented programming in Java, Kotlin, C#, or TypeScript.
- Experience building scalable REST APIs and cloud-native microservices.
- Proficiency with relational (e.g., Postgres, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Elasticsearch).
- Familiarity with message brokers and event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
- Experience or interest in AI/LLM integrations, prompt engineering a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across time zones.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable backend services and REST APIs for the Connect Cloud platform.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver intuitive front-end experiences (full-stack experience is a plus).
- Work on distributed systems challenges including performance, observability, and reliability.
- Contribute to AI/LLM integration efforts, from design through production.
- Own feature lifecycle: design, testing, instrumentation, deployment, and operational support.
- Prototype and evaluate new technologies; drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred or equivalent professional experience.
- Relevant certifications or coursework in cloud, distributed systems, or AI are beneficial.
