The Pharmacy Program Manager plays a key role in ensuring seamless operations across our Community Pharmacy enterprise by managing pharmacist scheduling and, at times, pharmacy technician assignments. This position supports new hire training, PTO requests, and the float schedule to maintain smooth workflows at all locations, while also assisting with operational projects as needed. Working closely with leadership and pharmacy teams enterprise-wide, this is primarily a behind-the-scenes support role rather than a patient-facing position. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in retail pharmacy and a collaborative, detail-oriented approach to driving operational excellence.

A caregiver in this role will work Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 5:00pm.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

  • Develop, implement, manage, and maintain operational systems and activities. 
  • Serve as a liaison with all levels of the organization and outside community. 
  • Manage multiple priorities and projects with competing deadlines. 
  • Allocate time to meet completion requirements. 
  • Serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department. 
  • Review and monitor adherence to Human Resources policies and corporate compliance procedures. 

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field 
  • Two years of experience in project management, data analysis and systems training
  • OR High School diploma/GED and six years of experience may substitute for the degree requirement 
  • OR Associate’s degree and four years of experience may substitute the Bachelor's degree requirement
  • OR Master’s degree and one year of experience may substitute for one year of experience

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Experience in a healthcare setting
  • Strong retail pharmacy experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods
  • Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment
  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information
  • Ability to travel throughout the hospital system
