Fairview Hospital is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider to join our nocturnal surgical house team! This team provides house wide coverage at night for all non-teaching surgical services, to include: Trauma Surgery, Urology, Ortho, and Plastic Surgery. The position does participate in Trauma activations in the ER.
The ideal candidate has experience caring for complex surgical patient in a tertiary care environment, managing routine and complex surgical conditions with a high degree of autonomy. The ideal candidate would have experience in several/many of the following skills: surgical/sharp debridement, suturing, soft tissue biopsy, splinting, NPWT/wound vac management, complicated foley placement, US guided IV placement, and chest tube troubleshooting.
Shifts: 6p-6a, sharing equally in weekend and holiday rotation with the team.
BLS, ACLS, and DEA are required for position.
ATLS will be required within 12 months.
