Manager of Paid Social

CALPAK is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Manager of Paid Social to lead and scale our paid acquisition efforts across platforms like Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, and Snapchat.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing performance marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth across Paid Social channels. As a key member of our Growth team, the Manager of Paid Social will take full ownership of CALPAK’s paid social acquisition strategy across key platforms like Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, and more. This role will report to the Sr Manager of Growth Marketing and will be responsible for scaling Paid Social growth efficiently and creatively. This is a hands-on role for a high-ownership operator who can pair performance discipline with creative insight to drive real impact.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can balance strategic planning with day-to-day management, using data to determine success and uncover new opportunities. You are adept at juggling multiple projects, prioritizing effectively, and leading a team to achieve exceptional results.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and scale growth across Paid Social channels including (but not limited to) Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat.
  • Develop and execute a performance-focused roadmap, balancing efficiency and scale to meet acquisition and company KPIs.
  • Partner with the creative team to develop and test content that drives conversion, leveraging platform best practices and performance insights.
  • Partner closely with the growth team to align, develop, and execute on the strategy, vision, and roadmap to optimize Paid Social and drive efficiencies.
  • Monitor and analyze channel and campaign performance, identify trends and opportunities, and provide insights to improve ROAS and MER to achieve acquisition and overall company KPIs.
  • Build and manage KPIs dashboards to help measure, optimize and scale our marketing efforts, report on performance weekly and monthly to leadership.
  • Work closely with creative and brand teams to ensure marketing assets are optimized for maximum performance; lead creative brainstorms and build a creative testing roadmap, reporting and sharing on performance and ideate new ideas for optimizations from start to finish.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with platform ad partners to gain access to alpha/beta tests and emerging product opportunities
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of campaign data to identify optimizations, test hypotheses, and guide future strategy.
  • Manage pixel implementation, conversion tracking, product feeds, and audience segmentation across platforms.
  • Develop and execute A/B testing plans across audience, creative, placement, messaging, and landing pages.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that streamline workflows and enhance campaign performance.
  • Provide any support as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of hands-on Paid Social experience, managing annual budgets exceeding $1M.
  • 1+ years in agency management and/or management experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Hands-on experience managing Paid Social campaigns with strong knowledge of strategy within each of the platforms - Meta, Pinterest, TikTok, Snapchat, etc. 
  • Proven track record of quickly diagnosing performance issues and adjusting tactics in real time.
  • Extensive experience developing, optimizing, analyzing, and reporting on paid campaigns across brand and performance objectives.
  • Advanced understanding of paid social fundamentals including audience segmentation, creative optimization, and A/B testing methodologies.
  • Ability to transform creative and campaign data into actionable insights.
  • Expertise in creative from conception to analytic results that can help drive ad performance.
  • Strong understanding and application of conversion tracking and pixel management.
  • Proficiency in Excel & data analytics platforms.
  • Proactive problem solver with the ability to troubleshoot and/or escalate issues effectively.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and takes initiative to lead projects.
  • Have an entrepreneurial spirit and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, fluid environment.
  • Proven success in working cross-functionally with all levels and effectively communicating/presenting.
  • Detail-oriented, "can do" attitude, and passionate about growth in a fast-paced environment.
  • A highly collaborative, driven, and team-oriented individual who is comfortable with new situations and highly iterative projects.
  • DTC and/or fashion and apparel experience is a plus.
  • Must be able to commute to CALPAK HQ in Gardena, CA.
