Skills
- Proficiency in manual and automated testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with Selenium, Cypress, Appium or similar automation frameworks.
- API testing experience using Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent tools.
- Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools such as Jira and TestRail.
- Strong SQL skills for validating data integrity across databases.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control with Git.
- Experience testing web and mobile applications across platforms (iOS, Android, browsers).
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for accounting, payroll, and inventory/kitchen management systems.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing across web, mobile (iOS/Android), and hardware environments.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and restaurant operations teams to identify edge cases and ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools; prioritize and follow issues through resolution.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to support CI/CD.
- Conduct simulated restaurant environment testing to validate peak ordering, payment processing, and order routing workflows.
- Participate in user acceptance testing with clients and incorporate feedback into product improvements.
- Monitor production systems and analyze customer-reported issues to drive proactive quality improvements.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Relevant QA certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
