This is a remote position open to candidates authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship, who presently reside in the US. We're looking for a Digital Marketing Contractor who wants ownership over our entire content and digital marketing function. This role offers the autonomy to build strategy and execute it—from webinars and written content to social media and email campaigns.
You'll have the freedom to make decisions, test new approaches, and directly see the impact of your work on company growth. Your role will report to the Interim Director of Marketing.
Demand Generation & Pipeline Growth
Own the demand generation strategy and execution — from audience segmentation and targeting to campaign design and conversion.
Work with partners to manage paid campaigns (LinkedIn, Meta, Google Ads) focused on pipeline creation and CAC efficiency.
Develop and iterate on high-impact campaigns for our mid-market and franchise ICPs.
Funnel Optimization
Manage lead flow from campaign through CRM (HubSpot), ensuring clean data and accurate attribution.
Constantly test and optimize messaging, channels, and conversion paths to increase MQL→SQL→Opportunity rates.
Implement A/B testing across landing pages, email, and ad creative to improve funnel efficiency.
Account-Based Marketing (ABM)
Build and execute ABM campaigns targeting specific mid-market accounts and franchise groups in collaboration with Sales.
Develop playbooks and nurture sequences to support complex, multi-threaded deals.
Performance Analytics
Own pipeline and campaign reporting. Track what’s working, stop what’s not, and optimize based on ROI and CAC payback.
Present actionable insights weekly and quarterly to drive growth decisions.
Content that Converts
Collaborate with internal and external resources to create high-converting assets (landing pages, case studies, one-pagers) that enable campaigns — not just publish for awareness.
5+ years of experience in digital marketing, content marketing, or integrated marketing roles
Proven early-stage startup experience (Series A, B, or earlier)
Genuine enthusiasm for AI tools and how they're transforming creative work
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment - move quickly, think strategically, prioritize ruthlessly, and excel at tactical execution.
Self-starter mentality - you take ownership, sweat the right details, and see projects through to the end.
Adept at using Google Suite, Slack, Hubspot, and ChatGPT/Claude.
Knowledge or experience in SaaS and the home improvement industry.
Strong understanding of business management CRM software and its application in improving business processes.

This position will pay a base salary of $70/hour, depending on experience and location.
This role will begin with 20-30 hours a week. It is anticipated that it will ramp up into full-time (40 hours/week) work.
This role is structured as a contract-to-hire opportunity with an initial 3-month contract period. During this time, both you and our organization will have the opportunity to evaluate the partnership and ensure mutual fit. At the end of the 3-month period, we'll assess the working relationship together to determine if transitioning to a permanent position aligns with both your career goals and our business needs. This approach allows us to build a strong foundation while ensuring the role is the right long-term fit for everyone involved. If we agree on mutual fit, the goal is to hire this person as our full-time Digital Marketing Manager.
