  • Partner with analytical development subject matter experts to rapidly identify, develop, and deploy analytical technologies within the development organization
  • Continuously reassess and re-develop (if needed) analytical technologies as new cell therapy programs are moved into development
  • Present and provide updates to stakeholders and senior leadership on technology development solutions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with department peers, research, process development and CMC for solution(s) endorsement and implementation

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Ph.D.  in Immunology, Cell/Molecular Biology, Analytical Chemistry, Biomedical Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of relevant biotech or pharmaceutical experience or Bachelors degree and 15+ years of experience
  • Profound understanding of cell therapy-specific methods used to interrogate genotype, phenotype and function of autologous and allogeneic cell therapy products is required
  • Experience implementing automation and high throughput analytical solutions to support large volume testing is required
  • Hands-on experience characterizing non-viral gene delivery platform is desired
  • Previous experience either directly, or through a matrixed role, leading high performing scientists is desired
  • Motivation and drive to acquire new skills and knowledge
  • Excellent verbal, written, and oral communication skills
