We're building the world's best way for marketers to book IRL gatherings—the most unique experiences, transparent package pricing, and three-click booking.

We already serve 5% of the Fortune 500, have processed $100M+ in events this past year, and recently signed several new distribution partners including Booking.com for Business and BCD.

As an Engineering Intern, you'll work alongside our engineering team to build product features that real customers use. This is a rare opportunity to ship code at a company with real traction and learn what it takes to build world-class products.

The Role

Backend / API Engineering

For the engineer who loves building systems that scale:

• Design and build APIs that power our marketplace and distribution partners

• Work with Next.js, PostgreSQL, and cloud infrastructure

• Help evolve our backend architecture as we grow

• Build integrations that connect Bonfiire to external platforms

Frontend / Design Engineering

For the artistically-minded engineer obsessed with craft:

• Build fluid, delightful interfaces with smooth animations

• Obsess over micro-interactions and visual polish

• Work in React, TypeScript, and modern CSS

• Help us make enterprise software feel like the best consumer products

Data Science / Analytics

For the engineer who loves turning data into insights:

• Build analytics dashboards and reporting tools

• Work with our data to find patterns and opportunities

• Help build ML-powered features for search and recommendations

• Work with Python, SQL, and modern data tools

What We're Looking For

• Currently or recently enrolled in CS, Data Science, or related program

• Strong fundamentals—you can actually build things, not just talk about them

• Portfolio or side projects that show what you can do

• AI-native—you use AI tools to accelerate your work

• High bar for quality—you care about the details

• Excited to work in a fast-moving startup environment
