Boeing Global Services is looking for an Instructional Systems Designer (Instructional Designer), who will lead the design of technical learning solutions to meet customer and stakeholder objectives. In this role, you will lead research and analysis of learning objectives and customer needs.  The selected candidate will design and provide recommendations to stakeholders on course structure, content, and methodologies.  You will lead the design review process with stakeholders.  You will support the development of training content to meet learning objectives, and you will lead an evaluation of technical training effectiveness and customer feedback.  In this role, you will develop, and lead assessment of new instructional strategies, methods, technologies and tools related to instructional design, development, and delivery.  This candidate will perform project oversight activities and stakeholder management and will provide mentorship and development to instructional systems designers and content developers.

The selected candidate will be required to perform work onsite at the Seattle, WA location.

Position Responsibilities:

• Designs technical learning solutions to meet customer and stakeholder objectives.

• Research and analyzes learning objectives and customer needs.

• Designs and will provide recommendations to stakeholders on course structure, content, and methodologies.

• Completes design review process with stakeholders.

• Supports development of training content to meet training objectives.

• Evaluates technical training effectiveness and customer feedback.

• Supports developing and accessing new instructional strategies, methods, technologies and tools related to instructional design, development, and delivery.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Education, Learning Design, Technology Education, Instructional Design or related field.

• Knowledgeable on Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint)

• Foundational understanding of Adobe Captivate or similar programs

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience working in a technical and software environment.

• Experience with Competency Based Training and Assessment or Evidence Based Training

• Experience in aviation.

• Minimum of 3 years developing e-learning.

• Be able to develop training for a global audience.

• Experience with Learning Management Systems.

• Problem solves a variety of situations and environments, technical and physical.

Typical Education & Experience:

• Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.).
