Position Responsibilities:
Assists with Internal Security Controls through performance of compliance assessment reviews and self-inspections to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements
Identifies deficiencies and recommends corrective action
Assists Facility Security Officer (FSO) with basic duties
Assists in the protection of government, intellectual, third party and company information from unauthorized disclosures
Performs Personnel Security processes to assist in obtaining individual security clearances/accesses
Assists in developing and conducting security awareness training and education programs to educate, refresh, and motivate personnel to protect people, property and information
Orders supplies and manages inventory of office products
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
1+ years of experience using basic Microsoft Office and office computing systems
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Ability to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience
1+ years of experience working with the National Industrial Security Procedures and Operations Manual (NISPOM), National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and Special Access programs
1+ years of experience in personnel security administration, physical security, communications security and/or other programmatic security-related field
