- Competency with medium voltage switchgear product design and manufacturing
- Familiarity with industry standards such as UL 1558, UL 1008, ANSI C37.20, NEC/CEC
- Proficiency with CAD tools, Microsoft Office, and ERP systems
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams
- Effective written and verbal communication and technical documentation skills
Responsibilities
- Act as primary point of contact and subject-matter expert for medium and/or low voltage power distribution products.
- Plan and execute testing and qualification of new products and manufacturing processes.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) schedules and coordinate cross-functional activities during product transitions.
- Develop, maintain, and finalize engineering documentation for production and commercial use.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Engineering to align product activities with business objectives.
- Coordinate with suppliers for product maintenance, obsolescence, and redesign activities.
- Provide technical leadership for continuous improvement initiatives across the product lifecycle.
- Create training materials for internal teams and customers on product features and applications.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field
- Relevant coursework or experience in power systems, switchgear, or electrical distribution
