- Strong knowledge of ASC 740 and corporate income tax accounting
- Experience preparing tax provisions for financial reporting and SEC filings
- Federal and state tax compliance experience
- Experience supporting tax audits and responding to tax authorities
- Ability to analyze tax impacts of complex business transactions
- Strong written and verbal communication with non‑tax stakeholders
- Experience with tax automation and process improvement
Responsibilities
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual income tax provisions under ASC 740 and prepare/review supporting workpapers for financial reporting and SEC filings.
- Manage federal, state, and international income tax filings to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Monitor tax law and rate changes and communicate impacts to leadership and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Accounting, FP&A, and Operations to develop tax strategies supporting growth and profitability.
- Prepare and manage documentation for IRS and state audits and respond to audit inquiries.
- Analyze tax impacts of business initiatives including capital investments, expansions, and supply chain changes.
- Identify and lead process optimization and automation efforts within the tax function.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships to align tax strategy with business objectives.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA or MST strongly preferred
